World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM) / by Kristen Harlow Stone

Every year in April members of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ALSA), practitioners and others celebrate the impact of the profession on our world, our neighborhoods and our lives. The first day in April is Professional Landscape Architects Day to celebrate the professionals working in the field and to kick off the month of reflection and education about the field.

The 2026 theme, Landscape Architecture in Action, highlights how ideas become places that support health, resilience, and everyday life — from parks and schoolyards to waterfronts and streetscapes. (ASLA.com).
